how we, at Partners Mutual Insurance Company, collect, disclose and

We collect, retain and use nonpublic personal
financial information about you for the purpose of servicing your
insurance needs and administering our customer relationships. We collect
information about you from the following sources:
- Information we receive from you on applications
or other forms, or in response to oral requests for information from
you (such as but not limited to name, address, birth date, telephone
number, drivers license, Social Security number);
- Information about your transactions with us or
others (such as insurance coverage, premiums, payment and claim
history, and information necessary for billing and payment); and
- Information we receive from a consumer reporting
agency (such as credit history, motor vehicle records and loss
information reports).
Information We Share
We do not disclose any nonpublic personal financial
information about our customers or former customers to anyone, except as
permitted by law. We do not sell any of your personal information to any
third party.
We may disclose some information about you to
nonaffiliated third parties, but only as permitted by law. Examples of
some organizations we might disclose information to are:
- Financial service providers (such as your
independent insurance agent(s) and banks for processing premium
payments or refunds);
- Insurance rating organizations who require
information for actuarial purposes;
- Insurance support organizations which are established to collect information for the purpose of detecting and
preventing insurance crimes or fraud;
- Companies that perform services for us or on our
behalf (such as claims administration, investigation or policyholder
services).
Information Protection
We restrict access to nonpublic personal financial
information about you to those employees who need to know that information
to provide products or services to you. We maintain physical, electronic,
and procedural safeguards that comply with federal regulations to guard
your nonpublic personal financial information.
Changes
If we change our privacy policy we will update and
distribute subsequent notices as changes are made or as required by law.
